SUMMARY REPORT ON THE 10th ROUND OF THE HT FIRST CROATIAN SOCCER LEAGUE

Under the framework of the “Direct Prevention of Fan Violence” project, CHC observers monitored the games of the 10th round of the HT first Croatian soccer league, and based on direct insight and collected data recorded the following events.

HNK GORICA – HNK RIJEKA 2:1

The match of the 10. round of the HT first Croatian soccer league between HNK Gorica and HNK Rijeka played on 06.10.2018 at the Radnik stadium in Velika Gorica in front of around 2.600 people, from which about 150 were members of Armada (HNK Rijeka).

The match was played in a sporty atmosphere, without any fan related incidents.

NK RUDEŠ – GNK DINAMO 0:3

The match of the 10. round of the HT first Croatian soccer league between NK Rudeš and GNK Dinamo played on 07.10.2018 at the stadium in Kranjčevićeva street in Zagreb, in front of around 1000 people, from which about 300 were members of Bad Blue Boys (GNK Dinamo).

The match was played in a sporty atmosphere, without any fan related incidents, with the exception in 75.minute when Bad Blue Boys activated 3 flares which were immediately thrown under their feet, probably due to being forced to do so by other Bad Blue Boys members.

HNK HAJDUK – NK OSIJEK 0:2

The match of the 10. round of the HT first Croatian soccer league between HNK Hajduk and NK Osijek was played on 07.10.2018., at the Poljud stadium in Split, in front of around 8.500 people, from which about 4000 were members of Torcida (HNK Hajduk) and about 50 were members of Kohorta (NK Osijek).

In 70.minute, Torcida activated 6 flares and 3 flashlights.

NOTE: It is no surprise that none of the media portals had reported about the 6 flares and 3 flashlights activated during the match HNK Hajduk – NK Osijek. Though the same had already happened when Croatian media portals had reported that on the match between GNK Dinamo and Anderlecht in Belgium only one flare was activated, when it was evident on TV reports that at least 3 more flares were activated.

We must ask the questions whether it is the duty of media to lie, conscious and unconscious, and ‘support’ violence and hooliganism, or their goal is to objectively and efficiently report about what is going on at football stadiums and to become actively involved in fight against hooliganism, pyromania and other forms of violent behaviour on football stadiums, all according to the laws of UEFA and Croatian laws as well.

The administration of Hajduk, once again, hadn’t given a proper seating on the stadium for the Croatian helsinki committee president , mr. Ivan Zvonimir Čičak, 100% disabled person, as they had prepared a seat for him in the first row of lounge B, which is in the 33.row of the stands, which makes it , for a disabled person, technically impossible to get there. According to that, even the administration of HNK Hajduk demonstrates ‘savagery’, illegal behaviour and antagonism towards ‘profane persons’. Due to listed facts, we have had to organise monitoring of the match in a ‘different way’.
