SUMMARY REPORT ON THE 1st ROUND OF THE HT FIRST CROATIAN SOCCER LEAGUE
Under the framework of the “Direct Protection of Fan Violence” project, CHC observers monitored the games of the 1st round of the HT first Croatian soccer league, and based on direct insight and collected data recorded the following events.
GNK DINAMO – NK RUDEŠ 1:1
The match of the 1. round of CFF (Croatian football federation) first league between GNK DINAMO and NK RUDEŠ was held on 27.07.2018., at the Maksimir stadium in Zagreb, in front of around 2600 watchers, from which around 400 were members of Bad Blue Boys (GNK Dinamo fan club).
The match was played in a fair atmoshpere and without any fan violence or incidents.
HNK RIJEKA – HNK GORICA 2:0
The match of the 1. round of CFF (Croatian football federation) first league between HNK RIJEKA and NK GORICA was held on 28.07.2018., at the Rujevica stadium in Rijeka, in front of around 5200 watchers, from which around 500 were members of Armada (GNK Dinamo fan club).
Before the match, a poster with a crossed-out CFF(Croatian football federation) logo was present on the north section of the stadium.
In 3′ minute, fans on the northern section of the stadium chanted:”HNS faggots, you’ve fucked up football”, which had been repeated until 5′ minute. In 13′ minute Armada members chanted:”I hate Dinamo, I hate Hajduk, I hate the purger, I hate the tovar.”
In 22′ minute chants were heard:”Referee you motherfucker”, and i 25′, due to a referee decision, most of the spectators on the stadium were swearing and whistling.
In 26′ minute the northern section of the stadium chanted:”HNS faggots”, on which the eastern section replied:”You’ve fucked up football”.
In 43′ minute chants:”Purger pussies” were heard, and in 45′:”Mamić fucked your mother”.
In 73′ minute chants:”Referee you gypsy” could be heard”.
NK OSIJEK – HNK HAJDUK 4:1
The match of the first round of HT first Croatin soccer league was played on July 29. 2018., at the Gradski vrt stadium in Osijek , in front of around 5000 watchers. Among them were about 300 members of Kohorta (NK Osijek) and about 500 members of Torcids (HNK Hajduk). Due to the fact that it was a high risk match, safety measures in Osijek were empowered to avoid any possible incidents. The match was followed by loud cheering with a few inappropriate chants. Kohorta started with lighting up flashlights in 20’ and 21’, and in 36’ they chanted:”Step over the tovar.”The second halftime was much more dynamic, so Kohorta, embittered by referee decisions in 56’ and 57’ minute chanted:”HNS faggots, you’ve fucked up football”, which was followed by “Fuck you Split, Osijek is the champion”. To that, Torcida replied with:”Gypsies, Gypsies”(56’). A few minutes after, Kohorta chanted:”Tovar pussies”, while Torcida, dissatisfied with a referee decision in 68’ loudly chants:”HNS faggots, you’ve fucked up football.” During the period after the 70. Minute, a larger sum of pyrotechnical devices were activated. From 71’-75’, Kohorta activated 7 flares, 1 cannon blast, 2 flashlights, one of which was thrown on the pitch. Minutes later, Torcida joined them and lit one flare in 76’, and then 8 more, 4 of which were thrown over the fence on the tartan track. In 82’ they had put up a huge poster that said:”When you’re fighting the scum you are orjuna, when you’re taking down Dalić then you’re Šuker’s advocate! May you all be carried away by Drava!” The end of the match was credited with Kohorta chanting:”Tovar pussies” and in 92’ Torcida responded with:”Osijek pussies”.
