SUMMARY REPORT ON THE 20th ROUND OF THE CROATIAN TELECOM FIRST LEAGUE
Under the framework of the Direct Prevention of Fan Violence project, CHC observers monitored the games of the 20th Round of the Croatian Telecom First League, and based on direct insight and collected data, recorded the following events.
NK ISTRA 1961 – NK OSIJEK 1:1
The 20th round of the Croatian Telecom First League was played on December 16, 2017 at Aldo Drosina stadium in Istra. About 700 fans attended the game, of which over 100 were members of the Demoni (NK Istra 1961), and about 20 members of the Kohorta (NK Osijek).
The match was played without any fan related incidents, and ‘Demoni’ chanted:”We won’t give Istria” during the whole match.
GNK DINAMO – HNK CIBALIA 1:0
The match of the 20st Round of the Croatian Telecom First League was played on December 16, 2017., at the Maksimir stadium in Zagreb, in front of about 700 spectators, among which were around 20 Ultras (HNK Cibalia) and about 300 Bad Blue Boys (BBB – GNK Dinamo).
At the beggining of the match, BBB chanted:”Mamić you gypsy leave the holy land”. In 48’ Ultras chanted:”HNS faggots you’ve fucked up football”.
In 59’ BBB chanted:”We are BBB, craziness rules among us, we’ll beat up anyone who doesn’t love Dinamo”.
In 61’ BBB chanted:” With a stick, a chain and a brass-knuckle in the head, for Dinamo’s glory”.
In 68’ BBB activated one cannon blast on the tartan track, and in 75’ two more flares and canon blast were activated.
HNK HAJDUK – NK INTER ZAPREŠIĆ 5:0
The match between HNK Hajduk and NK Inter Zaprešić was played on December 17, 2017.at the Poljud stadium in Split, in front of around 7.500 spectators, among which around 3.500 were members of Torcida (HNK Hajduk).
Before the beggining of the match, Torcida put out banners that expressed their dissatisfaction with the work of Hajduk administration:”Responsibility, not demagogy”. There was also a banner with their president Kos on a rocket.
Dissatisfied with their position in the league (12 points behind Dinamo), mambers of Torcida spent the first 15 minutes in silence. They stopped the silence in 16.minute with a chant:”play, you pussies”, which was directed to their own players. The rest of the stadium refused to join the charade of insulting Hajduk players. In 23.minute Torcida sang:”The dawn is here, the day is upon us, blackout drunk is the whole north. Everyone drunk and drugged, we cheer for Hajduk”.
In 36’ Torcida raised a banner that said:”Hookers in Nyon are selling their cheeks”, after which they started singing:”Jano, oh Janice, suck dick without a raincoat”.
This was a reaction and a message to Janica Kostelić, the state secretary for sports, who had visited Nyon two days earlier, to the UEFA headquarters to meet the president, Aleksander Čeferin. She was accompanied with the key people of Croatian football federation.
In 37’ Torcida chanted:”Fuck you, Mamić”, “HNS faggots you’ve fucked up football” and “Šuker you Turk, suck dick”. The complete array of insults was rounded up in 38’ with the chant:”Croatian police, bribe and corruption”, after which they sang “For the holy jersey and colours, we’ll go to war with everyone, no law nor police will stop us at this. You’ve destroyed Croatia and our favourite game, we’ll fuck your mothers, to each and everyone of you. We’re ready to go to jail, for Croatia and Hajduk, we’ll go to jail.”
The second halftime was ‘opened’ by Torcida chanting to Hajduk players :”play you pussies”, while the rest of the stadium whistled with disrespect.
In 59’ Torcida again chanted:”Croatian police, bribe and corruption”, after which 30 flares were activated, from which two were thrown in on the pitch. Two cannon blasts were activated as well as a couple of flashlights. In 84’ “HNS faggots, you’ve fucked up football” was heard again, followed with one flare.
The match ended with Torcida singing a song:” The dawn is here, the day is upon us, blackout drunk is the whole north. Everyone drunk and drugged, we cheer for Hajduk”.
