SUMMARY REPORT ON THE 25st ROUND OF THE CROATIAN TELECOM FIRST LEAGUE
Under the framework of the Direct Prevention of Fan Violence project, CHC observers monitored the games of the 25th Round of the Croatian Telecom First League, and based on direct insight and collected data, recorded the following events.
HNK HAJDUK – NK ISTRA 3:2
The game HNK Hajduk – NK Istra 1960 was held on the 10. of March 2018. In Split, at the poljud stadium in fornt of about 8000 watchers, among who were around 3.500 Torcida (HNK Hajduk fan club) and around 20 Demons (NK Istra fan club).
The game passed relatively steady untill the beggining of the second halftime. Then, in minute 58′ a smoke box was activated, and from 59′ up to 63′ around 30 flares were activated, two smoke boxes and other fire requisites. In minute 65′ Torcida activated 2 flares, and in 83′ they chanted to the judge:“Gypsy, Gypsy.“
GNK DINAMO – LOKOMOTIVA 1:4
At the Maksimir stadium in Saturday, March 10., 25. round of HT first soccer league was played in front of an almost empty stadium (barely 1.200 spectators). The members of the fan clubs have not show up so the match was finished without any problems, except for individual profanities sent to, now an ex-coach of Dinamo, Mario Cvitanović.
NK CIBALIA – NK OSIJEK 1:1
Slavonian derby in the 25. Round of HT first soccer league was played on March 11. At 17:00hrs on the city stadium in Vinkovci, between Cibalia and Osijek, in front of about 1.500 supporters, among which stood out the Ultras(NK Cibalia fan club), around 100 of them, and about 300 members of Kohorta (NK Osijek fan club).
The game went on in loud cheering i mostly fair supporter atmosphere, except for when a penalty was awarded for Osijek, while the Ultras chanted:“ HNS faggots, you’ve fucked up football. (15′ min) and: „Gypsies, Gypsies“ towards the judges. One firecracker was thrown in the minute 60.
NK INTER – HNK RIJEKA 0:3
On the Zaprešić stadium in Saturday, March 11., a game of 25. Round of the HT first soccer league was played in front of 150 Armada members.
The game went on in moslty fair cheering, but with a few outbursts, for instance in 20’minute Armada members sang „I hate Dinamo, I hate Hajduk, i hate purgers and tovars“. On a few occasions we heared chanting: „Purger pussies“, and „I hate Dinamo“ in minute 73′. At the end of the game (87′) a flare was activated and Rijeka supporters were informed that such behaviour is inacceptable.
