SUMMARY REPORT ON THE 22nd ROUND OF THE CROATIAN TELECOM FIRST LEAGUE
Under the framework of the Direct Prevention of Fan Violence project, CHC observers monitored the games of the 22nd Round of the Croatian Telecom First League, and based on direct insight and collected data, recorded the following events.
GNK DINAMO – HNK HAJDUK 0:1
The summary of the 22nd Round of the Croatian Telecom First League, played on February 18. 2018. At Maksimir stadium in front of 13.500 supporters, among which there were over 2.500 Bad Blue Boys ( Dinamo fan club ) and over 3.500 Torcida ( Hajduk fan club).
The game was preceded by a safety check of the north section of the stadium in the organization of Dinamo’s administration. On Friday, two days before the fame, 60 flares and 4 big smoke boxes.
The game itself was, except for the standard supporter repertoire, a real show of hatred, call for murder, chauvinistic expressions and pyromania.
At the sole begging of the game (4.min) Tordica chanted:” Kill, kill Šuker” which lasted for 3 minutes.
In the minute 14. a crossed-over head of Zdravko Mamić was hung on the fence by Bad Blue Boys. Later, 4 more similar posters appeared, but the security, as well as on the games before this one, failed to react.
In 12. And 19. minute first firecrackers were heard. In 12. Minute BBB lighted up a flare, and in the minute 22. they threw a flashlight on the tartan. In minute 22. Torcida chants “Purger pussies”, and in the minute 25. singing started: “… I’m lighting up tall furnaces, 2 rows of coal, 4 Purgers. Purgers screams aaa, there will be baking, I’m looking forward to it”, while BBB chants back with:”..With a boomer, a chain and brass knuckles in the head, kick, destroy, for Dinamo’s glory.”
In the minute 32’ BBB chanted “Mamić gypsy, leave the holy land.” And in the minute 39’ the chanted:” HNS faggots, you’ve fucked up football.”
Torcida had put a parole in the minute 36’ which said:” To you band of chetniks in the lodge on the left, minors from the south will fuck your dead mothers.”
In the minute 45’ BBB chanted:” Zdravko Mamić, Sebian bastard.”
In the minute 64’ Torcida chanted:” I hate Dinamo, that Serbian name.”, and BBB responded:” Tito party, Hajduk’s army.” And :”Kill, kill the Tovar.”
In the minute 60’ Torcida activated 53 flares and threw them on the tartan, with 6 canon blasts, chanting:”Fuck Dinamo”.
In the minute 70’ BBB chanted:”Kill the Tovar”, and in the minute 73’ Torcida chanted:”We will kill you, we will slaughter you.”. In minute 74’ BBB chanted:”Kill the tovar”, and in 76’ they activated 25 flares they threw on the tartan, and 3 that were thrown on the pitch. 15 minutes after that, chairs in the central part of the northern section of the stadium were set on fire.
In minute 85’ Torcida chanted: “ Croatian police, bribe and corruption.”
A part of the western section of the stadium chanted in the 75’ minute: “ Gypsies, Gypsies”, and in 86’ BBB followed up with: “Tovar pussies” and “Kill the tovar.”
In the end we would like to point out that during the last few months we were the witnesses of frequent police-judicial persecution of persons who, on facebook and other social networks, are calling for murders of individuals. It is obvious that police has double standards towards them who allegedly call for murders of individuals via e-mails, while on the stadiums they pretend not to hear the calls for elimination, not just of individuals but of whole national, religious and other socials groups.
NK OSIJEK – HNK RIJEKA 2:1
A small derby of the 22. Round of HT first league was played on Saturday 17. Of February 2018. At 15:00 hrs in Osijek, on the Gradski Vrt stadium with around 3.200 supporters, 350 of which were the members of Kohorta (NK Osijek fan club), while there was only about 80 members of Armada (HNK Rijeka fan club).
Most of the game passed in a fair chanting and usual rooter decor. Armada ‘jumped out’ of the fair chanting framework by chanting: “Osijek pussies” (33.,61/62.,66.min).
Kohorta reacted with pyromania sallies, throwing 4 firecrackers in 56. I 57. Minute, and another one at 72’ minute, while in the 71’ minute 2-3 flares were thrown.
