SUMMARY REPORT ON THE 26th ROUND OF THE CROATIAN TELECOM FIRST LEAGUE
Under the framework of the Direct Prevention of Fan Violence project, CHC observers monitored the games of the 21st Round of the Croatian Telecom First League, and based on direct insight and collected data, recorded the following events.
NK DINAMO – RUDEŠ 1:0
The game was played on the Maksimir stadium on Saturday, March 10. In the framework of 26. Round of HT first soccer league in front of around 100 watchers. The members of the Bad Blue Boys (Dinamo fan club) haven’t shown up on te stadium but protested from the Kvaternik square to the stadium, about 1000 of them, expressed dissatisfaction with the possible model of privatization of Dinamo.
NK OSIJEK – NK HAJDUK 3:3
The game was played in Osijek on the Gradki Vrt stadium in March 17. 2018., in the framework of the 26. Round of HT first soccer league in front of about 3.500 watchers, from which 400 members of Kohorta (NK Osijek fan club) and about 500 members of Torcida(HNK Hajduk fan club).
From the first minute Torcida chanted “HNS faggots, you’ve fucked up football” and “Croatian police, bribe and corruption”.
Kohorta in the 14’ minute chanted “Fuck you Hajduk” and then in minute 26’ Torcida chants “Croatian police, bribe and corruption”.
In the minute 28’ Kohorta chanted “Fuck you HNS”, then “Step over tovars” and on few occasions (36-38’) “Tovar pussies” and activated a smoke device.
In 60’ minute Torcida activated a firecracker and then about 10 flares, 3 of which were thrown on the tartan. In 71’ minute Kohorta activated 3 flares, one firecracker, sang “Fuck you Split, Osijek is the champion” and chanted “Tovar pussies”.
In 81’ minute someone from Torcida threw a ‘Cannon blast’ firecracker. When a firefighter tried to throw away the device, it exploded and endangered his eyes. As an answer for this act Kohorta chanted to Torcida:”Gypsies, Gypsies.” In 83’ minute Torcida activated one smoke device and chanted :”We Croats don’t drink wine, but the blood of Chetnicks from Knin.” While exiting the highway, the police has thoroughly inspected the fans, especially the Torcida members to that extent that some of them were left in their undershirts. Although we have to notice that at the beginning of the game there were at most 100 Torcida members and at the start of the second halftime, on the northern side, there were about 500 supporters. The members of Torcida literally ‘dripper’ on the stands during the whole first halftime.
NK RIJEKA – NK CIBALIA 5:1
The game of the 26. Round of HT first soccer league was played on March 18. 2018. At 17:00 hrs in Rijeka, on the Rujevica stadium in front of 4.500 watchers, among which Armada members were most featured (HNK Rijeka fan club), over 700 of them, and a smaller number of Ultras (NK Cibalia fan club).
The game went on in a fair atmosphere.
