SUMMARY REPORT ON THE
12th ROUND OF THE CROATIAN TELECOM FIRST CFL

Under the framework of the Direct Protection of Fan Violence project, CHC observers monitored the games of the 12th Round of the Croatian Telecom First CFL, and based on direct insight and collected data recorded the following events.

GNK DINAMO – NK OSIJEK 1: 1

The match of the 12th Round of the Croatian Telecom First League between GNK Dinamo and NK Osijek was played on October 14, 2017 at Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb. About 5200 spectators attended the game, of which there were about 300 members of the Bad Blue Boys (BBB-GNK Dinamo), and 30 or so members of the Kohorta (NK Osijek fan club).
The BBB chanted loudly and with their usual fervour against Zdravko Mamić, and so in the 42nd minute they sing “Mamić you know it’s all over”, and chant “We want elections”. In the 74th minute, the BBB set off a bomb explosive and light a number of flares. Immediately following that, the official announcer warns them to stop their unsportsmanlike cheering.
The BBB mark the end of the game (90th minute) with the chant: “Fuck you Zdravko, you’re done with”.

NK ISTRA 1961 – HNK RIJEKA 1 : 0

The match of the 12th round of the Croatian Telecom First League was played on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 15:00 hrs at Aldo Drosina Stadium in Pula, before just over 2000 spectators. Among the fans there was a large group of over 500 Armada members (HNK Rijeka), and about a hundred members of the Pula Demons (NK Istra 1961). The game passed in a sporty and fair atmosphere for the most part, with only a few verbal outbursts. In the 18th minute, the Demons began singing “Fuck you Rijeka”, which lasted nearly 5 minutes, and repeated the same in the 56th minute. In the 73rd minute they chant, “Rijeka pussies”.
The Armada was louder and more energetic, and on several occasions chanted “Istria pussies” (18th, 21st, 45th, 46th, 59th minute). On two occasions, the 65th and 87th minute, the Armada chants “CFF faggots, you screwed up football”.
The security was at a high level, and thorough scan checks of the fans were carried out at the entrance to Pula.

HNK HAJDUK – NK CIBALIA 2:1

The match of the 12th Round of the Croatian Telecom First League was played on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at 19:00 hrs at Poljud Stadium in Split. Roughly 8000 spectators attended the game, of which there were about 3500 members of Torcida (HNK Hajduk fan club) and 15 members of the Ultras (NK Cibalia fan club).
The first half progressed without incident. In the second half, Torcida sings a fan song dedicated to their tragically deceased member, Ivan Blažević, known as the only one charged for the attack on referee Marić. A flare display begins in the 50th minute, where we recorded a total of 28 signal flares – bengals and two firecrackers.
The remainder of the game passed without incident all the way until the end when Torcida began stirring the atmosphere for the upcoming derby with Dinamo, chanting in the 87th minute “I hate Dinamo”, then “Kill, kill the Purgers” in the 88th, and in the 89th a new odious message “Hot stone ovens I burn, I burn; two rows of coke, four rows of Purgers; the Purgers scream aaaaaa, they’ll be burning, and I’ll be rejoicing”, and finally at the end in the 90th minute, “Ooooo, ooooo, fuck you Dinamo”.
At the very end during overtime, given an uncalled penalty shot for Hajduk, the referee was the target and was bid farewell with shouts of “Gypsy, Gypsy”.
When the game ended Torcida chanted: “CFF faggots, you screwed up football”.
